The Canada Grant for Green plus Homes program mentioned plus stockings is plus in effect. However, the Canadian Loan for Green plus Homes is still in effect. This is interest-free financing of up to 40,000, repayable over 10 years. The loan is also administered by Réno-climat in Quebec and the admission criteria are the same as for the subsidy.

Whatever the reason, if you want to gain autonomy, whether by adding panels to a solar energy generation system already in place or starting from scratch, you may be interested in the Canada Green plus Home Grant.
In place since May 2021, Quebec owners can apply to Rénoclimat to analyze their project and obtain up to $5,000 to install solar panels on his residence. There is also a $1,000 available for those who would like to acquire a bench of battery that would act as a back-up system.
To benefit from the subsidy on renewable energy systems, a number of criteria must be met, including:
• Apply BEFORE starting work
If the work has already started or even completed, the chances are great that your application will be refused. The grant is not retroactive.
• The residence must be the principal of the owner and he must have lived in him for 6 months.
• The installed system must have a production capacity equal to or greater than 1.0 kW. You will receive $1000 per kW.
• System can be off or on network
In the cas that you want a network system, you will need to complete an application with your supplier to be able to connect.
In this regard, Hydro-Québec offers a net measurement program that allows you to connect to the grid and obtain credits on your energy production.

To benefit from the batteries grant:
• The batteries must be connected to a photovoltaic production system (solar energy system) permanently.
• Can be used for a new system, replace or complete an existing battery
• Applies to tous types of battery technology, as long as they are deep discharge.
• The subsidy may include the cost of purchasing the installation of the inverter and the charge controller (regulator).
